The Mad Men Effect

Mad men, with 16 Emmy nominations, has become a hit show with compelling characters who OFCOURSE wear incredible clothing. It is easy to see how such sharp suits, and complex lingerie could influence a post economic meltdown ridden world. People were getting bored of simplicity and want new garments to mix and match. This show has not only influenced the fashion industry, but has influenced new television dramas including Pan Am, and the Playboy

Banana Republic has created an entire collection based off the show, which is self titled, and is selling out fast!
