Underwater Sculptures! the coolest thing ive seen in a long time

A friend of mine posted a link about this on her facebook and I felt the need to share it with everyone I know.
Jason de Caires Taylor has sculpted AMAZING realistic humans and instead of putting them on display at a museum he has put them underwater all around the world to create new coral reefs.
"Jason de Caires Taylor’s underwater sculptures create a unique, absorbing and expansive visual seascape. Highlighting natural ecological processes Taylor’s interventions explore the intricate relationships that exist between art and environment. His works become artificial reefs, attracting marine life, while offering the viewer privileged temporal encounters, as the shifting sand of the ocean floor, and the works change from moment to moment."
The photo below is of a sculpture with holes drilled in it and living fire coral or Millepora Alcicorni growing out of them. It is thought that one day the figure will look as if it is on fire.
