biker chick or bad ass?

I recently bought a pair of faux leather shorts from forever 21 (in photo directly below). They made my girly curves look slightly more badass and hopefully not to biker chick. I had been looking for a pair that were affordable and not to to short. The only pair left in the store, and in my size i was thrilled. Until I got home and realized they were ripping along many seams. The faux leather was a little to faux, and the price reflected the quality a little to much.
:( what a sad day.

Obsession: Crystal Bullet Necklaces

Should I figure out how to make one? Or go on a mission to buy one?
This bracelet is EPIC!

Boxes to Remember

If you are ever handed one of these boxes you are a lucky lucky lady, or lad.
Lets start with an iconic yet simple one

Next we have a box with a horrible colour palate but great history and contents
No words are needed for this one
Another box that needs no explanation

As I'm sure there are many more glorious boxes this I feel is the most important to many girls dreams

Colours of 2011

Pantone has released their colour trend forecast for 2011 for men and women. It is pretty similar to last year, as the recession is decreasing the speed of the fashion cycle. This is important to those of us who care about the environment, and who are on a tighter budget but still care about being on trend.
Silver Cloud- of the grey family, is considered the latest interior design genius. Mixing different tones and textures of gray in one room gives it a timeless, modern AND rustic feel.

The mens selection is very very similar to the women's. It has deeper colours, and the pinks are less "girly" per say.

The colours i think I will wear the most are silver peony, silver cloud, and maybe russet.
As soon on the runways White, beigh, and cream are all staple colours as well.

leather art

In preparation for a bra design competition I'm researching ideas for a leather armband I am incorporating (more to come on that perhaps).
On this mission I have come across three amazing leather garment artworks that I thought I would share.

I DIE

A new and intense obsession with Rachel Zoe (the show), is nothing to be embarrarssed about, except maybe when I sound slightly... dumb... blonde.... and well a little to perky! For a Louis Vuitton suitcase SET, or just a travel trunk with drawers, I might actually die though.
The LV logo, one of the most recognized in the world, was designed in 1896 to ward off counterfeit products. This sparked a global logo and tagging revolution, as funny as that sounds.
These are some of the original bags <3

The next few photos are drool worthy.
The garment bag is incredible! I'd have to get a private jet to go with it.
I WOULD DIE FOR THE TRUNK

christmas coat

Sitting in a beautiful telus box under the tree is my great grandmothers mink fur coat. I have wanted this coat since I first saw it at the age of 10, and I am finally allowed to have it! If this is due to being of a "mature" age or because I now live in a cold climate, I will never know. I do know that I want to open that package at this instant, but am not allowed to for four more days.

This is slightly scary!

but this makes up for it <3

Karl the Incredible

After watching the Pre-Fall 2011 Chanel show by Karl you can not help to wonder how he comes up with such impeccable ideas!
The iconic Rue Cambon store into a dreamy Ottoman empire living room. The guests were seated on pillows that make my pillows look like they came from the dump. Their hair was high, shoes low, walked gracefuly, and rocked gold jewelry, head pieces, shoes, chains and belts. The men had glittery scarves and vests while the women had crotch high cavalier boots.
What will you think of next Karl?!!!!!!

Multiple Stars Dead

As part of a World Aids fundraiser Lady Gaga along with the Kardashians and Justin Timberlake pronounced their viral death on December 1st 2010. This included not updating their Facebook and Twitter. Today they rose from the dead after having raised one million dollars. Other stars involved were Alisha Keys, and Usher.
leave it to Gaga to go all out!

Out in the Cold

On many red carpet days the weather is not a perfect 25 degrees and sunny, but yet we don't realize how much the stars are suffering for fashion while posing outdoors before awards shows and premiers. On December 6th Angelina Jolie, in a white Atelier Versace, graced the red carpet for the premier of "The Tourist" while it was below zero and snowing.

Perhaps she does not need a jacket because she has Brad Pitt to keep her warm (may I point out that HE is wearing a jacket!). The rest of the stars should consider keeping their health and fashion by wearing perhaps a faux fur jacket for at least part of the runway.
